Miss Teen Honors Southern California is open to young women ages 13 to 18, who are:

  • Curious and thoughtful

  • Interested in expressing their ideas

  • Motivated to grow in confidence and communication

  • Engaged in school, community, or personal pursuits

  • Open to learning and contributing

Participants should be currently enrolled in middle school or high school, or the equivalent, and demonstrate a genuine interest in personal growth, communication, and community engagement.

We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and experience levels. No prior pageant experience is required.

Eligibility

We welcome young women who are excited to grow, learn, and express themselves. All applicants should meet the following:

Gender: Female (as recognized medically and legally in the United States)

Age: 13 to 18 years old on the date of the pageant (contestants must be at least 13 and no older than 18 on or before August 8, 2026)

Education: Currently enrolled as a full-time student in middle school, high school, or an accredited homeschooling program

Academic Requirement: Submission of an official or unofficial transcript demonstrating a minimum GPA of 3.0

Marital Status: Single

Citizenship: U.S. citizen or able to provide proof of legal residency in the United States

Criminal Record: No history of felony charges or criminal convictions

Parental Status: Must not have given birth and must not be pregnant at the time of the competition

Health and Character: In good health and demonstrates strong character, integrity, and a commitment to personal growth

Four-week preparation program

All selected contestants participate in a comprehensive four-week training program that serves as the foundation of the Miss Teen Honors Southern California experience. Through structured instruction, guided practice, and personalized feedback, participants develop confidence, communication skills, and stage presence in a supportive and focused environment.

This program is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on training across public speaking, poise and walking, and presentation and style—ensuring that each contestant receives thoughtful preparation and individual attention. The skills developed through this experience are intended to extend well beyond the competition, supporting each participant’s growth in school, future opportunities, and everyday life.
