Christina Wu
Christina Wu is the Founder and Executive Director of Miss Teen Honors Southern California, where she leads with a clear vision to develop confident, articulate, and capable young women through a structured and meaningful program.
With a deep and ongoing commitment to the pageant community, Christina has been actively involved in pageantry through training, mentorship, and production. Her work reflects a strong belief in the role of pageants as a platform for developing confidence, leadership, and personal growth.
Her journey in pageantry began as Miss Los Angeles Chinatown (Queen), where she was also awarded Miss Photogenic. She currently serves as Pageant Director of the Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Pageant. Under her leadership, the program has grown into a more impactful and expanded signature program, with increased visibility, stronger community engagement, and an elevated experience for contestants, sponsors, and audiences.
Complementing her work in pageantry, Christina brings a diverse professional background that further strengthens her leadership and vision. Her professional background spans Fortune 100 companies, the Hollywood entertainment industry, Silicon Valley startups, and educational institutions. She has worked with respected organizations including The Wall Street Journal, Lifetime Television, and KUSC Public Radio, gaining extensive experience in communications, marketing, public relations, and business strategy.
In addition to her corporate career, Christina has produced and been involved in over 450 events and productions, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions with audiences of up to 3,500 people. Her experience includes pageants, fashion shows, conferences, corporate retreats, fundraisers, dance performances, music concerts, festivals, and community banquets, reflecting her strong capabilities in event production and leadership.
Her background in the performing arts further shapes her approach to performance, presentation and stage presence. A lifelong dancer, Christina began her training at a young age and has studied a wide range of styles, including traditional Chinese dance, ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, heels, hip-hop, and K-pop. She has performed at prominent venues such as Disneyland, the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, the Hollywood Bowl, MGM Grand Las Vegas, Knott’s Berry Farm, and the Rose Parade.
Christina holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California. Through her leadership of Miss Teen Honors Southern California, she continues to create meaningful opportunities for young women to develop confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of identity both on and off the stage.
